Good morning Wutai


Wutai (Chinese: 霧臺鄉; Rukai language: Vedai) is village in the Wutai Township. The township is a mountain indigenous township in Pingtung County, Taiwan.

The main population is the Rukai people of the Taiwanese aborigines.

As of the year 2014, the Rukai numbered 12,699, and is the seventh-largest of the 13 officially recognized indigenous groups in Taiwan.

The Rukai were called Tsarisen, which means “people living in the mountain”.

The Rukai regards Dawu Mountain as their Holy Mountain.
