While trying to come up with a name for our new Intranet URL, I came across a glossary of words used in William Gibson novels, in particular Neuromancer.

My favourite from this particular glossary was Ninsei

Ninsei:
Heart of Night City, Tokyo. ¶

Followed closely by “Night City”

Night City:
Old area between Port and City of Tokyo. Outlaw city, playground of criminals, merchants, pirates and whores. ¶

In the end, I think they will go with “Nexus”

Nexus:
# A means of connection; a link or tie: “this nexus between New York’s… real-estate investors and its… politiciansâ€? (Wall Street Journal).
# A connected series or group.
# The core or center: “The real nexus of the money culture [was] Wall Street� (Bill Barol).
