I have a small bug when using NetNewsWire 2.0b25 on the iMac (running OS X 10.2.8) in work.
So I fired off a quick support e-mail to the nice people in Ranchero software explaining the error.
Low-and-behold, they came back to me, within like 10 hours.

I’m might be going overboard, but that is good service. And all for $29.95

I’m happy. :)

Hi Bernard,

Thanks for using NetNewsWire! We’re glad to hear you find it to be a useful app.

There was a bug in version 2.0b25 that was causing behavior like you describe with Mac OS X 10.2. We released an update to NetNewsWire 2.0 beta earlier today that fixes the issue. If you download the new beta you should be able to import as expected on your Mac OS X 10.2.8 machine.

You can download NetNewsWire 2.0b37 here:
http://ranchero.com/netnewswire/beta.php

Please let me know if you continue to see the problem with the new beta.

Best regards,
Sheila

hea there,

I have NNW 2.0b25 full (registered app) at home on my PB 10.3.2 and all
works fine.

Ok, so now my issue.

I have an old skool iMac in work. Mac OS X 10.2.8/256MB/1GHz PowerPC G4
CPU. (machine has all updates the OS version will support)

I recently downloaded NNW 2.0b25 and plugged in the reg code. So far so good.

When I tried to import my opml file, exported from my home install,
nothing happens.

File->Import Subscriptions and no menu, errors, anything.

When I try to export the iMac opml file, I can.

File->Export Subscriptions, and the normal “save as” window comes up.
