the reset button is next to the batt. under the batt. cover, it says "RESET" and there is a hole with a blackbutton inside of it, dont have to press hard, just enough to hear a small click, even if you dont here a click it doesnt need that much force, just wait abou tthirty sec to a min

Hi I'm having problem with my treo 650, the problem is I was installing Virtual Java on my treo 650 some reason my palm desktop software on my computer wasn't working so I tried to install with "card export" on my treo and I used that program to install the virual Java on the phone not the SD card after installing that I had to soft reset the phone then the hot sync started and keep connecting. I couldn't excess the palm now when ever I reset treo the first thing comes up the Hot sync and it start keep connecting. I've done everything now I've done soft reset and hard reset still the same problem. now I can't control the brightness too. It has been a week now I'm keep trying to look for help but no luck yet. I hope you can help me with this. I will be very thank full to you.

There must be a way to perform to perform a hard reset without a hotsync cable. I lost mine and don’t feel like buying another. Anybody know which pins must be crossed?

Hi there,

Glad you liked the explanation.

You're more than welcome to drop by again. I am always interested in other users views of the Treo 650, the (nearly-no damn WiFi) perfect device!
