In today’s world it really only takes a few days/to a week before any national, world incident draws the usual bottom-of-the-barrel scum to create some e-mail hoax/virus.

Well the London bombings of last week have brought about the newest hoax e-mail.

This person offers a share in the contents of a security box, which his business partner filled with money, allegedly. Think standard issue 419′er scams.

Below is an excerpt of the content:

After waiting to hear from you after my first letter to you informing you that my late business partner who died in the last bomb explosion here in London deposited some money in a safe box before his untimely death with a security company to be delivered under diplomatic arrangement to Saudi Arabia for collection at the Security Company’s Annex office in Saudi Arabia for real estate investment…

The Guardian newsblog goes into details explaining the first virus.
Also the scam Red Cross appeals which are circulating. The British Red Cross has not sent any emails asking for donations and is very unlikely to do so.

These people really are sick. Why couldn’t they have been killed. Bah, they really make me mad.
