[UPDATE]: The Sunday Business Post ran an article yesterday giving more details, I didn’t really want to add from last week, about the price paid, etc.

IrishJobs.ie, Ireland’s number 1 recruitment website, today confirms that it has purchased Jobs.ie. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Irishjobs.ie was formerly Irish Jobs Pages and was established in 1995 by John Feely and was initially based in Galway. IrishJobs.ie has 4 Irish offices, and also has online recruitment sites in Scotland, ScottishJobs.com, Wales with WelshJobs.com, in Northern Ireland with NIJobs.com. More is on the horizon.

Jobs.ie was set up by Marco Herbst and Vinnie Quinn, initially as nixers.com, but later purchased the domain, jobs.ie.
