World Economic Forum's fifth annual “networked readiness index

Ireland is not even listed on the World Economic Forum’s fifth annual “networked readiness indexâ€?, which measures countries’ ability to benefit from computing and communications, as printed in las week’s Economist. The rankings assess a country’s economy, regulatory conditions and infrastructure, as well as its adoption and usage of technology.

Thailand is listed. Shame.

[UPDATE:] Thanks to Mr. Mulley for pointing out the mistake. We are on there, “Ireland is 20th”. We are sooooo ready its just sickening.

Now if anyone would like to give us *something* so we can benefit from computing and communications.

I hate the way we are always ready for ability, but we never get a chance to use our ability!

We’re 20th. We are listed on the W E Forum website. Look at the rankings column. It’s selective. See my post about it from last week: http://www.mulley.net/2006/03/30/wow-ireland-gains-in-world-economic-forum-report/
