Fon maps for Ireland and UK and free routers from Fon for EU!

Antoin, Ireand’s Chief Fonero managed to spot Fon has now added maps for Ireland, and the UK.
They are only GoogleMaps, but its a start. He is right when he mentions that some of the Irish points are not on the map, literally. but that’ll get sorted soon. I will be adding all the points I have added to my MapBuilder maps.
They have finally listened! Mapping is one of the mosat important part for this kinda of movement to make an impression. You want to be able to see where the nearest FonSpot is.
On another cool point, Fon are giving away free FonSpots to the first 100 Foneros who e-mail Fon with a picture from their front window. Nice way of making sure you get a busy thorughfare.
They have been doing this for a few months already.
So, for anyone who is interested in getting a FonSpot for their busy street, have a look.

Bernard,
I’m all for a united Ireland and all but no matter what Fon thinks, they are not going to get away with listing Enniskillen as being in Cork! See http://ie.maps.fon.com/recenter/-8.58/51.97/
Also, it is a good thing I speak (some) Spanish - I can find my way around the maps - pity those English speakers trying to find Fon hotspots in Ireland. If they can figure out the Spanish they’ll discover that Enniskillen has moved about 300 miles south
