Speaking with Ruairi Roddy of about 6 months ago, I asked him about their regional newspapers releasing RSS feeds, so us “country-folk” could keep up-to-date with the local goings on of home (for me its Waterford).

It was interesting to be working in one recruitment search site, trying to get RSS feeds launched, while hoping others would also do it. The more channels for jobs available for the jobseeker the better!

He said it was something in the pipeline for them as a company on the whole.

Well an interesting little mail popped into my mailbox a few weeks ago from Ruairi telling me that they had released RSS feeds for The Waterford News & Star.

He mentioned that they were releasing RSS feeds for Recruit Ireland, TCH’s recruitment search website. And again, I see this is now launched. Tom also picked up on it too.

Doing a little investigation, I think it might be possible to find RSS feeds for their other regional newspapers. It doesn’t take much imagination to figure out the scheme
