UPDATE: Meester Mulley points to the Silicon Republic article about Vodafone Ireland getting the highest ARPU(Average Revenue Per User) from any of their customers in any other country.

I’m sure their defence will be, “Irish people like to talk”. But we don’t like to be screwed, but the fact is, Irish people don’t complain about it.

According to Hjalmar Winbladh, CEO, of Rebtel European users spent €5 billion on roaming charges alone in 2006.
