Did you try the the v3.x firmware for your E61 ?

No not yet. Currently my E61 is a I think 2.8.9. Its the current firmware release for the E61 for Western Europe. I haven’t bothered upgrading to the newer 3.x firmware yet. I might try and see if I can get a beta version or something.

Thats what I hear also, but again its just from comments I hear. So I can’t say for sure.

What was the bottleneck for you with the E61, why you needed the N800? Browsing through WLAN?

The main reason I wanted to try out the N800 was to have a WLAN device for the house that could control things. I have my phone which works perfectly, but when I am not here, neither is my phone :)
