As a result of renewed interest in all things sine wave like, I have gotten back into amateur radio, mainly due to John and his aprs exploits.

Since then, I have been poking around the Internet for new ham radio related sites, since the last time I was looking was a long long time ago.

The best I have found so far is Hamigg, a sorta Digg for Amateur Radio.

From the developers website:

What is this about?
HAMigg is a social bookmarking platform similar to digg.com. But it should be limited to ham radio or technical topics.

Why has HAMigg been created?
HAMigg has been created as I think that current social bookmarking platforms are heavily congested. Digg.com currently has around 4600 new messages waiting in the queue. Even if you limit your search to certain tags, it is very easy to miss the real good stuff. And there is a lot of interesting ham stuff on the internet. HAMigg is an effort to help to shed a little light on this jungle.

So, take a look and maybe submit a story if you find one.

Thanks for mentioning HAMigg and glad that you like it.

As the platform heavily depends on user input, please submit any interesting stories / links you encounter on the internet.

    Thanks!
