Joe McNally is an American photographer who has been taking pictures for the National Geographic Society since 1987.
One of McNally’s largest projects, “Faces of Ground Zero,” was a response to the September 11, 2001, tragedy at New York’s World Trade Center.
McNally has been described by American Photo magazine as perhaps the most versatile photojournalist working today and was listed as one of the hundred most important people in photography.
McNally visited Google’s Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss his book “The Moment It Clicks.”
This event took place on May 15, 2008 as part of the Authors@Google series.
