Description: The Palais Rohan, is the name of the Hôtel de Ville, or City Hall, of Bordeaux. It is located at in Place Pey Berland and houses the town hall of Bordeaux and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux.

It took 13 years to build and was completed in 1784. In former times it was the Archbishop’s Palace. Parts of it date back to medieval times though it has been improved at various times over the years. Description: The second morning of our trip to Bordeaux, we ventured out to find breakfast after our walk around (there was the usual expensive but low quality selection of breakfast in the hotel).

We came across the nice but a little slow Café Karl in 6 Place du Parlement right opposite the nice Cousin & Companie Wine shop.

Our flight touched down in Bordeaux minutes before this huge storm delayed all other flights.

Within thirty minutes there was 2-3 inches of rain flowing in the streets. Fork lightening lit up the sky.

Bienvenue à Bordeaux.

He survived 1 other car, multiple scrapes with multiple cats, and a fair few dogs, and too many barbed wire fences.
