The shop called Pastas Casa Beatriz, on Calle Estafeta is world famous for one reason - her dulces and bombones.

You will see people carrying bags, inside are little boxes, or bags full of napolitanas, magdalenas de chocolate, bizcochos, txandrios, torta de txantxegorri and plenty more tasty things.

Her shop is situated at the bottom of Calle Estafeta on the narrow side of La Curva.

If you get to Pamplona, make sure you try her bombones.

This is a daily sight during the Fiesta of Sanfermínes - groups of friends, collegues from work, and Peña associations having dinner on the street.

Eating, drinking, and enjoying food together are pivotal parts of celebrating Sanfermin - groups of friends sitting at large tables on the street, enjoying lunches that can last for hours.

This is a photo of people waiting for the start of the encierro during Sanfermín. Every morning people wake up at 6-7AM to gather along the route of the encierro to watch the crazy people running. Balcony spaces sometimes become pretty full.

The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo, also called Primate Cathedral of Toledo, is a church in Spain. The seat of the Archdiocese of Toledo, it is one of the three 13th century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain.

Not Sanfermín related, but it is in the same country
This Christmas, on the way to Galicia to Belén’s family, we spent a few days in Toledo, un ciudad monumental, between journeys.

This is a photo of La Puente de San Martín, the bridge of Saint Martin, which stands to the south-west of the old town. The river Tajo flows north-south, winds around Toledo, and then south-north.

The bridge was constructed in the late 14th century by archbishop Pedro Tenorio to provide access to the old town from the west, complementing the older Puente de Alcántara linking to the east.

Both sides of the bridge were heavily fortified with towers, the more recent dating from the 16th century.

The bridge features five arches, with the largest in the middle reaching an impressive span length of 40 m.

I have tried (in my brain) to keep motivation for updating runningwithbulls.com with Sanfermín related writings.

But the problem is: Sanfermín lasts 8 days in 365. For the other 357, as someone who doesn’t live in Pamplona, it’s hard to keep up-to-date on whats happening.

So, now I change, again, to photography.

I created a busy, and steadily growing group on Flickr for Sanfermín photography.

I will try and post a selected photo every few days from the Sanfermín photography group, and also a few of my own.

1. The first thing I need to do, is settle on a new theme for RWB. I have not changed it in years. I will try and focus on a theme that is primarily aimed at photography and media posts. I’ll experiment with some themes over the coming few weeks.

As more news about Sanfermin 2009 is released, I might have to look at it, again, but for now its going to be photos.

2. The next thing, is automating the posting of the photos from the Flickr group, to this blog to make it as little steps as possible. This will help alot, in actually getting time to post here.

I think this is the best for the moment. If anyone is actually reading this, please let me know what you think
