The A-Team (…that crack commando unit sent to prison for a crime they didn’t commit who subsequently escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground, surviving as soldiers of fortune…) are on Amazon Prime at the moment. I’ve been watching them, remembering my childhood.
It’s true – the A-Team never shot anyone. They didn’t need to – they scared baddies into submission.
Watching Series 2 Episode 7 The Taxicab Wars (aired Dec 2, 1983!), the A-Team is hired to help a small taxicab company beat a villainous rival business determined to drive it to ruin.
Part way through, they are preparing for the villainous rival business to attack the small company’s depot. Sergeant Bosco Albert (Bad Attitude) Baracus sets to work creating an armoured car so they can defend themselves. Queue cutshots with metal plating, welding equipment, and such.
When he’s finished, he’s created: the Cybertruck.
Musk has copied B.A. He should take him to court for a bad rip-off. I pity the fool!
